An opening move in chess begining with White moving his g1 Knight to f3:

1.Nf3 d5
2.g3

This is one of several ways Black may respond to White's adopting of the King's Indian Defense posture with a move in hand. Black will try to have strong influence in the center, and only the question of placement of the f8-Bishop, and g8-Knight is yet undecided.
