Keen's is serious mustard.

Made in Australia by 'Keen's Foods', many would describe it as the 'definitive' hot English mustard, backed up strongly by the common Australianism 'keen as mustard'. Yep, that's what they mean when they say that.

A slightly dirty shade of yellow, with a very smooth texture, Keens will clear out your sinuses with the best of them. Described on the label as

'for those who enjoy a hot traditional full bodied mustard. Delicious served with roast meats, BBQ meats, burgers, and mayonnaise.'

and they're right. This stuff is perfect on roast beef, burgers, sausages, toasted sandwiches, and mixed with mayonnaise. Not to be used like 'Cheap Yellow Mustard', but rather, apply it sparingly.

It is also possible to make this stuff yourself from Keen's mustard powder, by mixing equal parts mustard powder and water with vinegar, sugar, and salt to taste. The end result will be noticeably hotter than the stuff that comes in jars, and will be a lot harsher too.
