There is only one spur of Interstate 5 called the 605. It is located in the Los Angeles area and is called the San Gabriel River Freeway, since it parallels the river's course for the most part. Its northern end is at Interstate 210 in Monrovia and its southern end is at Interstate 405 in Long Beach. It was completed in 1971 and for some strange reason CalTrans decided to never put a single control city for any of the signs for this freeway. All they say are "North," "South," "Thru Traffic," and "Freeway." It is 27.5 miles long.
