An old UNIX IRC client, written by Michael Sandrof and now being maintained by Matthew Green. Distributed under the BSD lisence.

It is a sort of popular client, with very much flexibility and scriptability (though not as much as with many modern clients). However, its age shows, and some people have expanded it a bit - famous "revised" versions include EPIC and BitchX.
