I have a wheeled suitcase.

“I’m decluttering,” she says
“Clearing out the baggage
that weighs me down, holds me back.
I don’t have space
or time for it anymore.
I am moving
on.”

I nod with a certain,
grudging, admiration.
It’s one of my fondest ambitions
- to travel light.

But I never can decide
what to discard
what is
not-quite-precious-enough
to keep.
And, anyway, I find that
if I fold it down small enough
there’s always room to tuck
just one more thing
into a corner.
