"Hotel Freedom" is an adaptation of the classic farce written by Georges Feydeau and Maurice Desvallieres, "L'hotel du Libre Echange".

It was adapted by John Lazarus and Robert Metcalfe.
In the Douglas College production, Robert Metcalfe casted and directed the actors.

The adapted version takes place in Montréal, Québec, during the summer of Expo 1967. The pace is tremendously high. On opening night, part of the set caught aflame!

The run was from March 23 to March 31, 2001 at the Performing Arts Theatre Located on the 4th floor of Douglas College.
