Hockey East Association

The Hockey East Association is a conference of the NCAA in Div. I. It was founded July 11, 1983. It exists to help organize the hockey contests of it's member schools. The founding member schools came from the ECAC when there seemed to be some turmoil going on there.

• University of Massachusetts, Lowell
• Merrimack College
• University of New Hampshire
• Northeastern University
• Providence College
