This is the second track off of
Living Colour's second album,
Time's Up. It was written and, I presume, assembled by Vernon Reid.
This song is what I call a sound collage. It's made up of multiple, interwoven samples of both voice and music. There's probably some sequencing going on; I don't want to pretend to know how Vernon Reid constructed this song.
