Perhaps the greatest American sitcom ever; a spinoff of Paul Henning's Petticoat Junction (Henning was the David Kelley of his day). GA was the first "show about nothing", about a New York lawyer, Oliver Wendell Douglas (Eddie Albert), as he tried to make a new life as a (totally inept) farmer in rural Hooterville. Albert played straight man to a vast, surreal ensemble of oddballs, including Eva Gabor (Oliver's wife Lisa) and a pig named Arnold.
