Gliadin

Gli"a*din (?), n. [Gr. glue: cf. F. gliadine.] Chem.

Vegetable glue or gelatin; glutin. It is one of the constituents of wheat gluten, and is a tough, amorphous substance, which resembles animal glue or gelatin.
