Celtic mythology - the 4th wave of mythological invaders of Ireland, perhaps pre-Goidelic, they were vanquished by the Tuatha De Danann in the 1st Battle of Magh Tuiredh, they fled to the Aran Islands where they built Dun Aonghusa on Inishmore, and retained influence in Connacht
