Hits like "Glad All Over" and "Bits and Pieces" out-Beatled The Beatles, but as the Fab Four upped the musical ante, the DC5 failed to keep up, despite good musicianship. Dave Clark&(the band's drummer) became a mogul of sorts in later years, buying the Ready Steady Go archives and other properties.
