A key on most keyboards. Usually next to the alt key. Used for hot keys and some automatic commands such as Ctrl+C.

Abbreviation for "control", and a key on the keyboard. The ctrl key was originally found on terminals. It is used to send control characters.

Most if not all modern computer keyboards have a ctrl key.
