"Coopers' Extra Stout" (or just plain "Coopers' Stout" to a South Australian) is an ale produced by Coopers' Brewery in Adelaide, South Australia. It is a fine and strong stout beer, with a heavy dark malt character. As with all off Coopers' "bottle conditioned" ales, bottles of Extra Stout retain some yeast sediment in them to allow maturation in the bottle and enhanced flavour. The connoissuer of stouts will find Coopers' Extra Stout to be rougher yet tastier then the average.
