Colt pistol. (Firearms)

A self-loading or semi-automatic pistol with removable magazine in the handle holding seven cartridges. The recoil extracts and ejects the empty cartridge case, and reloads ready for another shot. Called also Browning, ∧ Colt-Browning, pistol.
