Card turning is a social code of turning the corner of a calling card to signify something important. There are, of course, only four ways to turn a card, but a few combinations.

The turns are:
-Visite by turning the upper left corner of the card, you signify that you have visited and left your card.
-Felicitation turn the upper right to congratulate.
-Cogne Turn the lower left to signify that you plan to leave town soon.
-CondolenceThe lower right to show, of course, sympathy.
