A movie by Ed Wood featuring Tor Johnson and Bela Lugosi. The story is that of a young journalist who investigates the presence of a monster in the nearby swamps. She runs into Bela Lugosi and his giant octopus. The movie ends in a big nuclear explosion.

Ed Wood found a rubber octopus prop. Unfortunately, the mechanisms had died and they couldn't get the tentacles to move. So Bela Lugosi had to pick up two of its tentacles and pretend to fight with them during the climactic scene.
