Second song from the Rush album Roll The Bones released September 1, 1991. One of my favorite Rush songs and I'm not sure why. Maybe it is the way the harmony flows and carries the words. It could also be that one of the themes in the music is that love is worth more than anything in the world, including everything. How many out there are willing to risk everything for their true love?

As usual, words by Neil Peart an music by Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. The "Roll The Bones" (track 2, 4:35) version is compact while the Different Stages (disk 1, track 4, 6:23) version is expansive and features a large intrumental finish.

Bra*va"do (?), n., pl. Bravadoes (#). [Sp. bravada, bravata, boast, brag: cf. F. bravade. See Brave.]

Boastful and threatening behavior; a boastful menace.

In spite of our host's bravado. Irving.
