A dimensionless number used in momentum transfer in general and atomization, and motion of bubbles and droplets calculations in particular. Proportional to (Gravitational force) / (Surface tension force).

Bo = (g (rho-rhof) d2) / (gc sigma)

d: droplet/bubble diameter, g: gravitational acceleration, gc: dimensional constant, rho: droplet/bubble density, rhof: surrounding fluid density, sigma: surface tension
