Bob Packwood was the Senator from Oregon from 1968 until his dismissal in the mid 90's.
Although he probably did all sorts of important works in those 30 years, he is probably best well known for the sexual harrasment charges that eventually led to his dismissal from office.
He was also known for being popular fodder for comedians back in the early and middle part of the last decade.
