Submarine sandwich place. Can almost be considered
fast food, although you won't feel as sick afterwards (see
McPuke). Arch nemesis of
Subway, another sandwich maker. Blimpie's selling point is that they slice the
meat ingredients at the time of
Sandwich Construction (see
Sandwich Architect), however, I never knew that turkey came in plastic and looked like an oval 16 pound
bowling ball.
The original Blimpie is in Hoboken, New Jersey and was opened in 1969.
