A bi-timbral analog/digital synthesizer module with 6-voice polyphony.
Manufactured between 1985 and 1987 by Crumar.

The Bit 01 is a rackmount version of the Bit 99 synthesizer. The module is nearly identical to its predecessor, apart from the missing keyboard and having only MIDI in/thru jacks.

Early versions of the 01 used 6 SSM 2044 chips as the VCFs, but later units replaced them with newer CEM 3328s.
