The third arcade version of Konami's hit series Beatmania, introduced to arcades in September of 1998, only half a year after Beatmania 2nd Mix. The cabinet is essentially the same as its predecessor, except for a few minor color changes. Thirteen new songs were added, and the combo counter (Perfects and Greats in a row) was also added. The song progression for new songs is as follows:

The home version for the Playstation was released only three months later, in December of 1998.
