BayCon is a Science Fiction convention currently held in the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose (Formerly the Red Lion), right next to SJC International Airport, on Memorial Day Weekend, BayCon begins the friday before, and ends the monday of, Memorial Day.
First run in 1982, by Artistic Solutions, BayCon has spawned many other San Francisco Bay Area conventions, such as Fanime Con.
Features of BayCon include Dive-In Movies, Masquerade, Dealers Room, Art Show, Panels (Of course), Birds of a Feather, and the party floor.
The chair-person for 2003 will be Seanen McGuire.
