Unlike Acid Insoluble Sulfides, basic insoluble sulfides are ions that do not have a very strong affinity for sulfur and will only precipitate out of solution in the present of large amounts of dissolved sulfur. The base pushes the disassociation of H2S towards the right for the opposite reason acid pushes it to the left.
