Avalloc: AH-va-hlok
Medieval figure occasionally showing up in Arthurian Romance, he is derived from the Welsh god Afallach, king of the isle which bears his name, Avalon. In the Queste del Saint Graal and Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, he is called Evelake.
