An active city of just over one million residents, Antalya sits on Turkey's southern coast along the Mediterranean Sea. There are a few museums in Antalya, the largest of which is the Antalya Museum (the only museum in the country with a children's section). The Taurus mountains are visible from the coastal edge of the city, and if it is not too overcast Mount Olympus can be seen clearly.
