Author, playwright and poet. Born
Hungarian in 1935, but later migrated to
Switzerland, in 1956. There she began writing, in
French. Her writing is deeply influenced by personal experiences of
war and separation from her native culture, and she tells that she cannot write anything which does not reflect back onto herself.
Kristof is winner of the
Gottfried Keller award, one of the oldest, most prestigious
Swiss literary awards.

twin brothers and the issues of
war,
individualism,
morality and others. It acclaimed great success across
Europe.
