The world's largest ketchup/catsup bottle is 70 (almost) feet tall, atop a 100-foot steel base and was built in 1949. It was originally the water tower old Brooks Catsup Plant and headquarters in Collinsville, Illinois. In the late 70s, Brooks Foods slipped out of town and relocated to Mount Summit, Indiana.
After many years of neglect, volunteers raised money to repaint and restore it, modeling it after an original 1949 Brooks catsup bottle provided by a sympathetic bottle collector.
To see this piece of Americana take Collinsville Exit 159 Off of I-55/70. It's located at 800 South Morrison on Illinois Hwy. 159.
