What occurs after four days of heavy
snowboarding using
super tight boots.
Starts out very
painful, but this
subsides as
feeling is slowly
lost in the
foot. Once all feeling is
gone, it is replaced by the
tingly sensation commonly associated with when your foot
falls asleep.
Soon all
wires are crossed:
hot and
cold stimuli become
mistakable for the
opposite;
sensation of
pressure fades; and small pokes
sting like a
bee.
Against all
better judgement, no
doctors were seen for
ailment. Instead,
time proved to work
best. Now only when pressure is
applied to a
specific point, do
symptoms occur.
In addition to the above symptoms, there is
a new sensation of pressure along the nerve extending into the foot and ending in between the second and third
toe.
