An
archaic phrase used mostly in the
Pagan community; a
farewell. Used between friends and new
acquaintances
alike, and also in
ritual when addressing
invoked presences. Used as a reminder that everyone should gather happily and
civilly and part on good terms, to meet once more on
jolly terms. Also functions as a reminder that this is not "
goodbye" but more of a "see ya later," though sometimes that "see ya later" may be
metaphorical, or meaning
in the next life . . .
