Amusingly, the
Dragon's Tooth sword in
Deus Ex takes up more room in your inventory than a normal
sword (4 spaces as opposed to 3), even though the wield
animation clearly shows you pressing the button and the sword
springing to life. It's a
handy weapon, but it would be handier if it took up a comparable amount of space as a
pistol. Placing an
engaged Dragon's Tooth in your
pack in
RL would be a very
bad idea, seeing as how they are
nano-sharp and would cut all your
guns
in half.
It's hard to beat the amount of
damage done in a short period of time by a Dragon's Tooth sword in the hands of a
master swordsman, which makes it perhaps the
ideal weapon for dealing with tougher
enemies (the ones that don't
blow up as soon as you kill them, that is).
