A variety of what is commonly know as dwarfism, with the "diastrophic" meaning "twisted", which is because scoliosis commonly accompanies this form of dwarfism.
As well as scoliosis, some of the more noticable traits include "Hitch-hiker's Thumb",subluxed joints and a seemingly short lumbar section of the spine.
