About an hour north of San Francisco sits a quiet coastal town famous for its cold foggy summers, salty fishermen, and peaceful vibe. Alfred Hitchcock filmed The Birds in Bodega Bay, officially part of Sonoma County, California.

I noticed something eerie the last time I visited Bodega Bay. All the new streets tend to be named after birds, e.g. Heron Drive, Pelican Loop, Hummingbird Court, Oyster Catcher Loop.

Once when visiting Bodega Bay, I saw a brown gull swoop in and land in front of me and I could almost swear that it was giving me the evil eye.
