Ants on a log (thing)

Ants on a Log is the "official" name of the popular kids' snack that most (normal) families have had at least once.

MATERIALS: The material list is pretty easy. Construction of this work of art may take several minutes.

• Celery Sticks - As many as one estimates can eat as a snack.
• Peanut Butter - Not much is needed, but must be proportional to the celery sticks.
• Raisins - About 5-15 per celery stick.
• Butter Knife - Just one.

CONSTRUCTION: Building this fantabulous yummy can be broken down into a few simple steps.

1. Wash and cut celery to taste. You like the leafy and brown bits? Be my guest.
2. Using the butter knife in a somewhat creative fashion, spread peanut butter down the groove of the Celery.
3. Dot raisins along the peanut butter.
4. Tell your kids it's Ants on a Log and they will think it's so much cooler than it is.

I had this several times as a kid and, in my humble opinion, tops even the Ants on a Board delicacy.
