The
Duchy of Zeon is one of the two powers in the original
Mobile Suit Gundam series. One interesting thing about this conflict is the fact that neither the Zeon nor the
Earth Federation forces are made out to be the "bad guys".
But then again, maybe attempting to drop a colony on Australia is somewhat extreme as tactics go.
Apart from the incredibly ugly aquatic and walking fortress mobile suits, the Zeon forces have the distinction of having the coolest front line mecha, the Zaku, in a series, IMHO.
