Danelectro in a guitar and bass company started in 1947. The produce vintage style guitars, similar to the Silvertone guitars in the 1950s'. They also are the first and only guitar company to make guitars and basses with built in effects. They offer a twangy vintage sound heard often in 50s' recordings. They also make electric guitar and bass effect pedals and strings.
