This is probably
Nobuo Uematsu's weakest album. As mentioned above, the tracks are all mostly synthesized instead of instrumental, and don't really sound much better than their in-game conterparts. I think this is partially because
Final Fantasy V's music is comparatively poor to begin with -- In my
humble opinion, of course.
If you're a fan of the game you'll probably want to check this out, but I can guarantee that you won't like the album if you've never played it. Either way, you might want to download a couple of the mp3s before making a decision. Some good ones to try would be The Land Unknown, Fate in Haze, Intention of the Earth, and Dear Friends. Other soundtracks that you will like:
