I woke up in bed with my gf the other morning, and for reasons best known to herself, she desired a burger for breakfast. I, however, wanted a full english breakfast. A compromise was reached in the shape of the breakfast burger;

Ingredients Instructions
  1. Fry the burger patties for about 2/3 of the recommended cooking time, in a non stick frying pan. 5 minutes before the patties are done, add the bacon to the pan.
  2. In a second pan, boil some water with a few drops of vinegar added, crack in the eggs, and cover for ~3 minutes.
  3. 2 minutes before the burgers are ready, add 2 slices of beef tomato to the frying pan.
  4. Assemble the burger as;
    • bottom of bun
    • burger patty
    • ketchup
    • poached egg
    • mustard
    • bacon
    • tomato
    • top of bun
  5. Serve to a ravenous partner.
