New all-seater stadium located in Chofu, Tokyo. Is is located 17 minutes from Shinjuku station by special express train at Tobitakyuu station on the Keio Line.

It has the largest natural grass field for soccer in Japan and has a capacity of around 50,000 people. Unfortunately, it will not host any games for the 2002 World Cup.

Tokyo Stadium opened up on 3/10/2001 for the Tokyo derby between the J-League Soccer First Division teams FC Tokyo and Tokyo Verdy 1969, who both call Tokyo Stadium their home ground.
