I've changed jobs: I was "forced-engineer" (that's my term for a scientist who had to downgrade) until I retired and became the local curmudgeon. When I worked, I programed in SAS to reveal production problems and to build databases for simulation analysis. Now that I'm a curmudgeon I've forgotten all that and am thankful to out of the realm of IT professionals and electrical engineers. The company soon failed, I did not!
