Dan McIntyre, maybe not the same one, is a
tenant activist in
Ottawa, and once an
NDP candidate for the
Ontario legislature--also known as
The Pink Palace.
Dan has spent most of his life working in the trenches to protect the rights, well-being, and lives of tenants, not only in Ottawa, but throughout Ontario.
The government of Mike Harris, whose virulent anti-people attitude is manifest in many areas, has been particularly brutal in Dan's ballywick. Most of what he has achieved in his life of public service has, sadly, been ground into dust.
And tenants everywhere are worse off.
