In sumo wrestling, a do-over or no decision. It comes from the Japanese words for "take" and "fix".
In sumo, the gyoji (referee) must make a decision on the spot, even on ambiguous or unclear information. This decision may be challenged by the 5 ringside judges, which leads to a discussion of the decision. The outcomes are obvious: either the gyoji's decision is upheld, it is overturned, or torinaoshi is declared, and the wrestlers begin their match anew.
In the advent of video replay, torinaoshi has become less common, but is still invoked even in cases of a clear technical winner when the outcome felt more like a draw.
