The Cold Rock icecreamery is a franchise that was started in Queensland, Australia, in 1996. The store is unlike most other icecream shops, in that it is based on the concept of mixing in other tasty treats to create your own 'icecream sensation'. The concept itself was borrowed from the USA.
First choose your icecream flavour from the wide selection of sorbets, low fats, and premium icecreams.
The icecream will then be spread onto a frozen granite slab, where you can then choose any number of fresh fruits, chocolate bars, nuts, cookie dough, lollies and brownies to be mixed in. Your icecream sensation will then be created right in front of you.
