I'm 18, currently in my Senior year of highschool at the Northwest School in Seattle, Washington, a small to medium size college prep school in downtown. I'm extremely interested in, some would probably say, obsessed with, eastern religion and philosophy. I was born Christian, spent a year as a Wiccan before getting fed up with the immaturity in that community, discovering that it wasn't really where I belonged, and finding Buddhism, which feels like it was meant for me all along. I'm currently studying Zen in depth, soaking up Thich Nhat Hanh's writings like a dry sponge, and the more I read of his, the more I feel like I'm going to end up joining that sect of Mahayana. Of course, thats getting way off topic. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community, writing a lot of good nodes, and hopefully learning a bit as well.
