The largest bell in Britain, Great Paul is the bourdon in St. Paul's Cathedral in the City of London.

Cast on November 23, 1881 by John Taylor in Loughborough, England and hung in the cathedral in March 1882, Great Paul weighs 17,002 kg and sounds E-flat - one semitone lower than Big Ben.

At the time of writing, Taylor's bell foundry is still working in Loughborough.
