While we often think of
snails as being fairly slow, docile harmless creatures they can certainly do alot of damage to your plants.
One good way of getting rid of snails without using any harmful chemicals is to place a small container full of beer near your plants. Snails love a good beer and will happily drink themselves into oblivion.
Either that or they'll drown in the stuff.
