We do not fit the criteria for a kosher animal.
A few of these are:
- We do not have split hooves
- We do not chew our cud
- A ritual slaughter must be performed, none such exists for humans
- the flesh/meat must be prepared in a certain way:
Soaked for a specified amount of time
would probably (definitely
?) come under the concept of barbaric
customs which the Torah
directs not to do
