This recipe is so ridiculously easy that I hesitate to even call it a recipe. Or a salad.

Anyway, despite the mindboggling lack of complexity, this dish is actually served in Morrocan restaurants and it is a very light and refreshing kind of dessert, just the thing after a heavy meal or on a hot summer evening. You will need:

  • One sweet orange per two persons
  • Ground cinnamon
Peel the orange and cut it into slices, or alternatively, section it. Arrange the pieces of orange on a plate or in a bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon - you can use quite a lot.

Yes, that's it. Orange and cinnamon. If you want to get really fancy, you can sprinkle some orange flower water over it too. You can accompany this with ice cream if you must, or perhaps something like meringue, but it's really not necessary. Enjoy!
