A cadet at Starfleet Academy. He was a member of Starfleet Academy’s elite Nova Squadron. Joshua was killed in an accident in 2368 while participating in a Nova Squadron flight. His fellow squadron members testified that the accident was caused by a pilot error on Albert’s part. Cadet Wesley Crusher, another member of the squadron, later testified that the squadron had been attempting to perform an prohibited maneuver called a Kolvoord Starburst at the time of the accident. This was shown to be the cause of the young cadet’s death.
Cadet Albert’s father was a Lieutenant Commander at the time.
